BIOGRAPHY
My fixation with the guitar started years before I began to play, I always loved how the guitar looked. When I would wildly turn the tuning pegs on my father's Stratocaster, listening to the pitch of the strings go up and down.
One day, I walked into my brother's room and picked up his guitar, playing air guitar to songs I knew one day I wanted to play. It was that year I asked for a guitar at Christmas, at age 13, and started practicing. Self-taught those first years, learning my way through chords and melodies and then started taking lessons from the amazing instrumentalist Ron Jarzombek. He had a very heavy influence on me, his modern sound rubbing off during our sessions together. After years of studying with Ron, I then found Michael Morales, Grammy award winning producer and owner of San Antonio's Rockstar Academy. Along with their training and dedication, I was accepted into Berklee College of Music Boston in 2019. For 5 semesters, I have had the opportunity to study with some of the most accomplished musicians and music educators in the world, and to collaborate with fellow musicians from around the globe.
Throughout my time at Berklee and back home in Dallas, I have had the opportunity to perform at various venues, both large and small. I have played at iconic venues in Dallas, including Trees in Deep Ellum and Gas Monkey Bar & Grill, and have also had the chance to play at intimate venues in both Dallas and Boston, showcasing my talent and original music.
Now, with a wealth of experience and knowledge, I am actively pursuing a career as a musician in Nashville. I believe my passion for music, coupled with my skills and training, make me an ideal candidate for success in this competitive industry, and am confident that I have what it takes to make a lasting impact.
